Assembly Featuring Mr. Barrington Irving, Aviation Hero

On Thursday, February 12th, Cardozo will have a special assembly featuring Mr. Barrington Irving, Aviation Hero. Mr. Irving is the first African American and youngest person to fly solo around the world! He will come and share his inspirational story with the students and staff of Cardozo Senior High School. The event is being sponsored by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. This is a very special event in recognition of Black History Month! The Assembly will start at 10:00 a.m. There will also be a reception on Wednesday, February 11 (see the invitation below).
